Is-sinjal għal CHECK-OUT għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel, id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ qrun, jiġiferi s-saba’ l-kbir, il-werrej u s-saba’ ż-żgħir joħorġu u l-werrej imiss il-ħadd imbagħad jingħalaq biex l-id tiġi forma ta’ Y waqt li l-id tinżel ftit ’l isfel. (ii) Imbagħad, id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ B imma bis-saba’ l-kbir maħruġ u bil-pala tħares ’il ġewwa. L-id l-oħra tinbidel għall-forma ta’ B u titla’ minn bejn il-pala u s-saba’ l-kbir tal-id il-wieqfa, ’l fuq u lura u tiġi bil-pala tħares lejn il-ġenb.
The sign for CHECK-OUT has two parts. (i) First, the hand takes the shape of a horn, that is the thumb, index finger and pinkie are extended. The index finger touches the cheek then folds in so that the hand forms the sign of Y whilst it moves a little downwards. (ii) Then, one hand takes the shape of B but with the thumb extended and palm facing inwards. The other hand changes to the shape of B and moves up from between the thumb and palm of the stationary hand and backwards to the side with the palm facing the side.
